eco moms unite

my dad sent me a link to this New York Times article about moms getting together to talk about ways to go green at home....

i really enjoyed many of the points they bring up. even though i'm not a mom :)

read it here

[the image above has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that it feels weird to post without a picture and it feels like winter becoming spring where i live at the moment]

Good article. I feel that it's a constant struggle with my young ones to not be wasteful. I try to recycle as much as I can. I especially do not like that we can't recycle plastic #5,& 7. So I'm constantly trying to figure out how I can repurpose it.

the "made in china" reference struck a chord. e recently made me a series of bookmarks - sweetly labelled "made in home"! thanks for the tip lisa

Thanks for the link to the article. It was a little disconcerting; however, to read about how ecomoms can become judgmental of each other.

Would any of eco-moms be willing to help out a college student in need? My team desperately needs responses for our survey about a learn-to-recycle toy for kids ages 3-6. Thanks a bunch!
