a very warm welcome

hello everyone!

First - i'd just like to re-iterate how great all your enthusiasm and support for our project has been. it's been really wonderful and overwhelming. we hope that we can continue to spark your interest, curiosity, and participation.

Second - we'd like to introduce 3 more contributors to sew green. they hail from 3 different continents and will help round out our cast of characters. we feel very lucky to have them on board. keep reading to learn a bit more about them!

I'm loving the variety of blog contributors so far. Everyone has similar goals, but different approaches depending on where they live, what they do for a living, etc.

If you need a Brooklyn girl who plants veggies in big pots on her steps, tries to ride ber bike everywhere (no car) and does other "green" things in an urban environment, let me know!

Let me start by saying I love your blog ! I've wanted to start a blog for a long time now, and have finally had the motivation to start, thanks to you (and the plastic free woman !). I've started an eco-friendly beauty blog, which seems light and superficial in comparison to a place such as this tackling such bigger issues, but I think that it could reach to a broad range of women who want to know a little bit about alternatives to products that aren't doing the environment any good. And I haven't yet found a blog such as this. So if you'd like to visit, you can head over to :

ecobeautyblog.blogspot.com

I'd appreciate if you checked it out... again, thank you so much for providing such a wonderful site and resource !

A Cally fan, I have found SEW-GREEN, through her wonderful and prolific site. I think Sew-Green with its ever growing number of talented contributers will positively influence people of the world in a way that has not been seen before. This is just what we need and it's so exciting.
